Dumenko to "serve" at Lavra's Dormition Cathedral on Christmas Day
The OCU press service invited its supporters to "common prayer" with Dumenko at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
The head of the OCU, Epifaniy Dumenko, intends to perform a Christmas "service" at the Holy Dormition Cathedral of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, reports the OCU press service.
The "service" will take place on 7 January "after receiving appropriate permission".
The OCU also noted that "Ukrainian believers" are invited to the "common prayer".
Earlier, Metropolitan Pavel, the abbot of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, said that starting from the New Year, UOC believers will not be able to pray in the temples of the Upper Lavra.
