Bill on UOC ban to be considered in the second reading by the end of the year
The Servant of the People rep said that they plan to submit the bill on banning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to the Verkhovna Rada by the end of 2023.
The deputy head of the Servant of the People faction, Yevheniya Kravchuk, told Ukrinform that bill No 8371, which envisages a ban on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, is going to be considered in the Verkhovna Rada in the second reading by the end of this year.
According to her, this initiative was put forward by representatives of the Information Policy Committee, whose members have already agreed on two packages of amendments to toughen the bill.
As reported, the Verkhovna Rada voted in the first reading in favour of the bill to ban the UOC.
