Church Places 1,000 Crosses to Honor Victims of Abortion

Arkansas law bans abortion except to save the mother’s life. However, Planned Parenthood operates facilities in Little Rock and Rogers, and encourages out-of-state abortions.

BENTONVILLE, AK — On Saturday, NWA Respect Life volunteers placed 1,000 crosses at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Bentonville to commemorate 240,000 aborted babies in Arkansas.

The temporary display highlights their mission to honor life. On Sunday, September 14, 2025, the group will hold a March for Life starting at 2:00 PM in Rogers, beginning at Patriarch House near Planned Parenthood (1230 W. Poplar) and ending at Metroplex Event Center (2305 S. 8th St.). State Senator Jim Dotson and National 40 Days for Life Director Heather Gardner will speak.

Arkansas law bans abortion except to save the mother’s life, yet Planned Parenthood operates facilities in Little Rock and Rogers, and encourages out-of-state abortions.

Pro-abortion “shield laws” in other states complicate enforcement. Advocates say laws alone aren’t enough—abortion must become unthinkable through continued efforts.
