Holy Cross Graduating Class Meets Abp. Elpidophoros

Graduating seminarians met Archdiocesan leadership and toured key ministries during their annual visit.

NEW YORK, NY — The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America welcomed senior seminarians from Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology for their annual graduating class visit from February 17–20.

During the visit, the seminarians met with Abp. Elpidophoros of America, sharing private time and attending a luncheon in their honor. They also participated in services at the Chapel of St. Paul and toured Archdiocesan headquarters.

The group met with Bp. Nektarios of Diokleia, National Chancellor, along with department directors overseeing ecumenical relations, religious education, finance, information technologies, youth ministries, communications, stewardship, and other ministries. The seminarians also visited the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, National Philoptochos, Leadership 100, St. Michael’s Home, St. Basil Academy, Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, and St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and National Shrine.

Previously, the UOJ reported that Holy Cross was awarded $1 million to launch digital media studio.
