Fr. Noah Andrew Named Dean of Kuskokwim Deanery

NAPASKIAK, AK — The Russian Orthodox Diocese of Sitka and Alaska has appointed the Rev. Priest Noah Andrew as Dean of the Kuskokwim Deanery, entrusting him with responsibility for supporting clergy and faithful throughout the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta.

A native of Kwigillingok, Fr. Noah currently lives in Napaskiak with Matushka Anastasia, where he serves as an associate priest. His appointment draws on a long record of community leadership and service, including his years as chairman of Kwik Incorporated, where he worked to advance the well-being of his community.

Fr. Noah is a graduate of St. Herman’s Orthodox Theological Seminary. During his time at the seminary, he became known for his diligence, hospitality, and willingness to serve others. The diocese said he has combined practical leadership experience with a strong theological foundation in the Orthodox Faith.

As dean, Fr. Noah is expected to promote unity among clergy, encourage Orthodox Christians throughout the region, and help preserve the Russian Orthodox tradition in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta. The diocese expressed gratitude for his willingness to undertake the new responsibility and offered prayers for God’s blessing upon him and Matushka Anastasia.
