Wonderworking Hawaiian-Iveron Icon to Visit Churches in the Northeast
The Hawaiian-Iveron Icon of the Mother of God will tour several East Coast Orthodox parishes in March 2026, giving the faithful a rare chance to venerate the myrrh-streaming icon.
NEW YORK — With the blessing of Metr. Nicholas of Eastern America and New York and Abp. Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America, the myrrh-streaming Hawaiian-Iveron Icon of the Mother of God will visit multiple churches in northeastern states in March 2026.
The visitation, organized by the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR), offers Orthodox faithful an opportunity to venerate the wonderworking icon, which has become known for bringing comfort, healing, and spiritual renewal to believers throughout the Orthodox world.
The icon's visitation schedule is as follows, with times indicating the "Greeting of the Icon" immediately prior to church services.
