Russia, Vatican and Lebanon planning a conference in support of Middle East Christians

The President of Lebanon Michel Aoun spoke up for an international conference in support of Christians in the Middle East, reports Interfax-Religion.

On 10 February, President of Lebanon said that he would fully support the conference.

The initiative to hold the event has been earlier expressed by Russia and the Vatican.

The situation in the Middle East is not changing for the better. The situation of Christians in the region remains critical.
