Speaking at the First Conference of the International Orthodox Theological Association (The International Orthodox Theological Association (IOTA)) on January 9, Metropolitan Kallistos Ware stated that the Patriarchate of Constantinople “had granted the Tomos on autocephaly to schismatic groups – the so-called Kiev Patriarchate under the leadership of Filaret Denisenko and the so-called Autocephalous Church under the leadership of Metropolitan Makariy."
She published a photo from the presentation of His Grace with the text in Romanian, French and Greek.
As the UOJ reported, earlier Metropolitan Kallistos (Ware) of Diokleia stated that Ukraine belongs to the Russian Church, while the Tomos for Ukrainian schismatics was a mistake of Patriarch Bartholomew.
