The "hierarch" of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, the former Metropolitan of the UOC Alexander (Drabinko), with a group of representatives of the newly created religious organization, is on a tour to the monasteries of Mount Athos. The ex-metropolitan reports this on his Facebook page.
In particular, at the moment on the Facebook page of the "hierarch" of the OCU, there is information about visiting two monasteries – Xenophontos and Vatopedi.
The visit to the Vatopedi Monastery is not commented on, the “hierarch” of the OCU wrote about the reception of schismatics at Xenophontos: “The Xenophontos Monastery. The hegumen of the monastery, Archimandrite Alexy, as always hospitably accepting...”
In addition, the ex-metropolitan posted a photo that shows that he presented to the hegumen of Xenophontos, Archimandrite Alexy, the icon of St. Luke (Voino-Yasenetsky).
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that during the last visit to Greece of the OCU "hierarchs" Simeon (Shostatsky) and Alexander (Drabinko), believers of the Greek city of Patras opposed visits by the OCU representatives of the Apostle Andrew the First-Called Church.
