Primate of the Church of Czech Lands and Slovakia arrives in Amman

On February 25, 2020, the Primate of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia, Metropolitan Rostislav, arrived at the Queen Alia's International Airport, which is located near the Jordanian capital Amman, orthodoxjordan.org resource reports. Metropolitan Rostislav was met by the Patriarchal Epitropus in Amman, Archbishop Christopher.
Metropolitan Rostislav arrived to participate in the Synaxis of Primates of the Local Orthodox Churches in Amman at the invitation of Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem.
Earlier, the delegation of the Serbian Orthodox Church, led by Patriarch Irinej, arrived in Jordan.
The Synaxis of Primates in Jordan will be held at the initiative of Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem and will be devoted to the "Ukrainian issue", as well as to a number of other pressing problems of World Orthodoxy.
