Cypriot hierarch calls spiritual causes of the war in Ukraine

Metropolitan Neophytos of Morphou spoke about the spiritual causes of the war in Ukraine on the Spasi i Sokhrani YouTube channel.

According to him, the reason for this war and all others is the planting of a new world order around the world, as well as human sins, especially three of them - enmity, fornication and admitting the devil in the heart.

“The first sin that swallowed up the whole world is enmity, which was legalized by states. When sin becomes a law and a right, then the Lord turns away from man. The Lord is not afraid of our sins, he is afraid of a person who justifies sin, makes it a law, unwilling to repent. The second sin that Elder Ephraim of Arizona and schema-nun Galaktia speaks about is the perversions of fornication that occur in and out of marriage,” he said.

The Cypriot hierarch added that in our time not only same-sex marriages were legalized, but also pedophilia, which they are trying to instill everywhere, denying that the Lord created only a man and a woman.

And the third sin, according to him, is witchcraft, Satanism, astrology and parapsychology.

“Whoever carries this is the servants of Satan. Modern people prefer the energies of sorcerers, Satanists and Freemasons, they prefer the devil to Christ,” Metropolitan Neophytos added.

The hierarch said that only the Orthodox can resist the new world order.

“When it comes to the Ukrainian issue, if anyone understands what is hidden behind this war, the people of the new world order want to intensify all the bad things that we have mentioned so that no one can resist. The new world order of Bill Gates, Rockefeller, Schwab is very afraid of people who know history and those of the Orthodox faith and holiness. They want to split Orthodoxy, then weaken it and thus weaken a person so that he cannot become a saint, so that he accommodates on issues of witchcraft, technology, they want to subordinate a person to these energies. This is not only a Ukrainian issue, it is a global issue,” he summed up.

As the UOJ reported earlier, Metropolitan Neophytos said that the war in Ukraine is part of the Third World War.
