On June 23, 2020, the clergy of the Boryspil Eaprchy performed a memorial service for the reburied soldiers of World War II in the town of Berezan, reports the press service of the eparchy.

The memorial service was performed by the rector of the Archangel-Michael Church of Berezan Archpriest Sergius Taran in the presence of members of the search groups who joined the prayer.

After the service, Father Sergius noted the importance of commemorating the fallen in the fight against Nazism.

As reported earlier, UOC clerics performed the funeral service and reburial of Kovel liberators.
