After three weeks of daily services under their shrine, the community of the Intercession Church in Bortnychi (the Darnytsia district of the capital), seized by the OCU, has left to pray in one of the churches of the Annunciation Monastery," Archpriest Alexy Hodun told the “Dozor_kozak1” TG channel.
He said that the faithful began to receive threats and eventually decided to pray in the churches of the Annunciation Monastery in Bortnychi.
"With the blessing of the abbot of the monastery in Bortnychi, Arch. Varlaam, we and the parish moved to him. The prayer continues," the priest said.
He said that their raided Intercession Church stands empty, the OCU does not hold services there.
"Unfortunately, we have to state the fact that for 2 weeks now people have been passing the church at 9 a.m. - the gate is closed, and at 10, and at 11, and at 12 ... No services or other activities are held there. But our community, which is the legal owner of everything, continues its spiritual life," said the priest.
