Time to kill and hate: OCU rep explains why everyone should go to the front

On 9 January 2024, an OCU representative from Cherkasy, Chaplain Nazar Zasansky, explained why all Ukrainians should go to the front.
Zasansky, who previously participated in the seizure of the UOC monastery in Cherkasy, voiced his commentary on some verses of the Old Testament in TikTok.
He stressed that the text he was commenting on was on page 666 of the Bible, which he said was "scary for those who are afraid of the number 666".
The OCU chaplain quoted the 3rd Chapter of the Book of Ecclesiastes, which says, "To everything, there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to break down and a time to build…"
According to Zasansky, these words can be applied to the situation in Ukraine at the moment. He recalled President Zelensky's words that 500,000 people should be drafted and said that everyone should go to the front now because "when the enemy came to us, it is a time for us to kill and a time to hate".
As reported, the OCU "priest" could not say in what language the Tomos of his denomination is written.
