US President Joe Biden shared how his country's authorities addressed the problems faced by Patriarch Bartholomew in relations with the governments of other countries.
In his speech at the White House during the annual reception on the occasion of Greek Independence Day, Joe Biden recounted that Patriarch Bartholomew had "a small problem in another country".
"We made it clear that if they don't take care of him quickly, there may be problems with the United States," said the US President.
Biden did not specify which country he was referring to. However, earlier the UOJ wrote that Patriarch Bartholomew was accused of complicity in the coup attempt in Turkey.
Later, the Ecumenical Patriarch stated that the Phanar would not be expelled from Turkey.
