Phanar head takes part in Eucharistic Congress with Pope Francis

On August 12, 2021, the Phanar head, Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople, took part in the 52nd International Eucharistic Congress of Catholics in Budapest, reports Vatican News.
The congress ended with a mass in Heroes' Square of Budpest. The head of the Phanar also attended the Catholic service. One of the photos shows that Patriarch Bartholomew is greeted by the head of the Vatican, Pope Francis, who led the mass.
As reported, the Phanar head believes that full unity will crown the dialogue between Catholics and Orthodox Christians.
