Site of Greek Archdiocese of America made inaccessible to RF users

The Phanar has blocked access to the website of its Archdiocese in the United States for RF-located Internet users, reports Archpriest Georgy Maksimov on his Telegram channel.
Father George published a screenshot of the official website of the Archdiocese of the Patriarchate of Constantinople in the USA – www.goarch.org. At this address, instead of the content of the site, residents of Russia see a notification that the connection was rejected due to geolocation settings. The country in which these settings were set is the United States.
“Apparently, they decided to punish ‘these terrible Russian’ in this way,” Archpriest Georgy Maksimov commented on the situation. “In principle, I support the decision, there is nothing for our people to read the site with the preaching and protection of Phanar heresies. True, I suspect that the Russians have not read this site very much anyway.”
The site is now available to users in the territory of Ukraine.
As reported, Patriarch Bartholomew will arrive in the United States in October, where he will meet with Biden and the head of the Department of State.
