Christ the Savior Music Symposium Announced for June 11-14

Wayne, WV—The Christ the Savior Orthodox Church (ROCOR) is hosting an English language music symposium in collaboration with the Synodal School of Liturgical Music.

Instructors include Protodeacon Serge Arlievsky, Peter Fekula, Irina du Quenoy, and Mark Hrebinka, who will lead a series of workshops, roundtable discussions, rehearsals, and lectures. 

From the announcement: "The symposium will culminate with Vespers and Matins on Friday evening with Divine Liturgy on Sunday morning, chanted by symposium participants." 

Following the Saturday Liturgy, attendees will travel to the nearby Holy Cross Monastery for a tour and brief chant performance in the monastery's new Catholicon. 

Registration is limited to 50 participants. Cost is listed as $150/person including meals—lodging accommodations must be made separately.
