HCHC Offers Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership
BROOKLINE — Hellenic College is now accepting applications for its remote Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Management for the 2025-2026 academic year.
This 18-credit program equips students with essential skills to lead mission-driven organizations, including religious institutions, charitable foundations, international NGOs, and community groups.
Designed for clergy, lay leaders, and nonprofit professionals, the fully online program offers flexibility without requiring relocation or enrollment in an undergraduate program.
The certificate fosters practical expertise in strategic planning, fundraising, governance, financial management, marketing, and program evaluation, grounded in Orthodox Christian values.
Students will develop versatile skills applicable to church leadership, government agencies, corporate social responsibility roles, or civic organizations. The curriculum includes courses like Philanthropy and Nonprofit Sector, Leadership of Parish Communities, and Nonprofit Law and Ethics, ensuring graduates are prepared to make a global impact with integrity.
“This program empowers students to discern their vocation and lead with purpose in faith-based or civic communities,” said a Hellenic College spokesperson. The online format connects students with expert instructors and peers nationwide, fostering meaningful networks.
