The head of the OCU, Epifaniy Dumenko, said in an interview with RBC-Ukraine that His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry does not want to unite with his structure.

“We only meet with Metropolitan Onufriy at official events, we say hello, but there is no communication on the subject of unification. Because there is no desire on their part, especially on the part of Metropolitan Onuphry," he said.

According to Dumenko, now there is no relationship between the OCU and the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. He lamented that over the past year, the number of transitions to the OCU has significantly decreased, although the decline began with the arrival of the new government.

As reported, the hierarch of the UOC spoke about the constant strife within the OCU and the aggression of its adherents against the UOC.
