With the blessing of Metropolitan Ephraim of Kryvyi Rih and Nikopol at the church in honor of the icon of the Mother of God "Search for the Lost" in Kryvyi Rih, a meeting of the regional representative office of the public organization Miriane was held, according to the organization’s Telegram channel.
The head of the Kryvyi Rih branch of the public union, Vadim Yudenkov, spoke about the results of work last year and plans for 2022.
"The main task this year is to unite all active Orthodox believers – parishioners of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to continue defending their legal rights, the interests of the Church and protecting traditional Christian values," Miriane say.
Archpriest Anatoly Bondar, rector of the church of the Icon of the Mother of God "Search for the Lost," also delivered a welcoming speech.
“We need to get together, discuss problems and solve them together. There is no need to panic about what is happening in the country and the world, because where there is panic – there is Satan, but where there is peace – there is God. One needs to listen to the blessing of the Church in everything,” Father Anatoly said.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the Miriane in Kryvyi Rih defended the adoption of a bill that should abolish anti-church regulations.
