UOC convenes Council of Bishops

After voting at a meeting of the clergy and laity, a decision was made to convene the Local Council of the UOC.

On May 27, 2022, a meeting of bishops, clergy and laity ended at the Panteleimon Monastery of Feofania. It resolved to convene the Local Council.

According to the UOJ source, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry announced the Bishop's Council of the UOC after the end of voting. It will take place on the same day, May 27, 2022, after an emergency meeting of the Holy Synod. The probable beginning of the Bishop's Council is 17:00.

Recall that bishops, clergy, and laity gathered on May 27, 2022 at the Feofania Monastery.
