National Police and SBU inspect Pochaiv Lavra

On 23 October 2022, the head of the Ternopil Regional Department of the National Police, Oleksandr Bohomol, said that the police and the SBU had been checking the Pochaiv Lavra as well as some localities in the region for a week, reports kremenets.city.

According to him, there has been work in the region to ensure public order and identify collaborators. Activities were carried out jointly by the National Police and the SBU.

"Yesterday the Pochaiv Lavra, public organizations and entrepreneurs were inspected. We thank local residents, who patiently endured some inconvenience when this work was carried out. The work is being carried out on a weekly basis; in some areas, it will continue. Our task is to ensure public order, to identify people who can harm the state," said Oleksandr Bohomol. He also called on residents of the Ternopil region to treat the checks with understanding.

As reported, Zelenskyy is urged to appoint an anti-UOC radical as head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
