Holy Resurrection Monastery Launches Chapel Restoration Fundraiser
Holy Resurrection Monastery in Temecula launches a $55,000 fundraising campaign to restore its chapel and strengthen its spiritual mission.
TEMECULA, CA — Holy Resurrection Monastery in Temecula, California, is seeking donations to complete restoration of its chapel, with a fundraising goal of $55,000. The monastery has currently raised 10% of the target.
“Help us restore the monastery chapel, so we can provide a truly sacred space where daily prayers can rise for the life of the world, our state of California, and for the glory of God,” the community wrote.
Founded in 2014 under Abbot Dionisie (Rodila), Holy Resurrection Monastery is a men’s cenobitic community within the Orthodox Church in America’s Romanian Episcopate. Its daily rhythm includes prayer, Scripture reading, and hospitality to pilgrims. The monastery aims to glorify the Risen Christ through ceaseless prayer and ascetic labor, cultivating repentance, silence, and spiritual discipline.
The community envisions itself as a beacon of Orthodox monasticism in the Western United States, offering liturgical worship and spiritual refuge. Donations can be made online and designated for the chapel restoration.
