Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew’s visit to Paris featured liturgical celebration and the honoring of new Archons.

PARIS, FRANCE — Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew presided over the Divine Liturgy on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at St. Stephen Cathedral, gathering clergy and faithful for worship in the French capital. The service marked a significant moment during the Patriarch’s visit, drawing participants from across the region.

At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, the Patriarch invested three new Archons, recognizing their service and dedication to the life of the Church. The ceremony highlighted the continuing role of the Archons in supporting the mission and witness of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

On the following day, a formal dinner was held in honor of the Ecumenical Patriarch, hosted by Metr. Dimitrios and the Holy Metropolis of France. The gathering brought together clergy and distinguished guests in a spirit of fellowship and respect during the Patriarch’s visit.
