CHICAGO, IL — His Eminence Abp. Daniel of Chicago and the Midwest has issued a pastoral message to clergy ahead of Holy Week and Pascha, calling them to renewed spiritual focus during the Church’s most sacred season.

In his message, the archbishop urged priests to immerse themselves fully in the liturgical life of the Church, writing, “I encourage each of you to enter deeply into the services of Holy Week with prayer, reverence, and pastoral attentiveness.” He emphasized the role of clergy in guiding the faithful through the solemn and transformative journey from Christ’s Passion to His Resurrection.

Abp. Daniel also expressed gratitude for the dedication of his clergy, stating, “I thank you for your sacrificial service, your perseverance in prayer, and your dedication to the flock of Christ.” He assured them of his prayers and offered his blessing for a spiritually fruitful Holy Week and a radiant celebration of Pascha.
