DEC. 11, 2025 — The Antiochian House of Studies (AHOS) and Agora University have signed a new Memorandum of Understanding establishing a joint Bachelor of Arts in Theology – Eastern Christian Studies program. The initiative, launched under the auspices of His Eminence Met. Saba, aims to provide an accessible and academically rigorous path for students pursuing Orthodox theological education.
According to a social media post from AHOS, the fully online program offers in-depth coursework in Orthodox theology and the Eastern Christian tradition, with students able to transfer up to 84 credits from previous studies. The degree requires 60 credit hours, delivered in eight-week intensive modules, and can be completed in two to four years at the student’s own pace.
Designed for ministry leaders, teachers, missionaries, church servants, and lifelong learners, the program seeks to serve those looking to deepen their understanding of sacred history and theology.
