Parliament introduces a resolution on the adoption of bill №4511 in the first reading
The draft resolution (№4511 / R) is registered in the Parliament by the Committee on Monday, October 10, reported on the official website of the Verkhovna Rada.
The authors of the bill (№4511), registered in Parliament on April 22, 2016 are a number of deputies from factions "Petro Poroshenko Bloc", "People’s Front" and "Samopomich" Oleg Petrenko, Alexander Briginets, Andrei Levus, Sergei Vysotsky, Oleg Medunitsa, Igor Artiushenko, Dmitry Tymchuk, Yuri Timoshenko, Alexei Skripnik, Bogdan Matkivsky, Yuri Bublik, Alexander Opanasenko, Elena Masorina.
The bill proposes to give special status to religious organizations, whose senior centers are located in an aggressor state.
In particular, it is proposed to introduce a special procedure for registration of statutes of religious organizations, to enter into the practice of signing contracts (agreements) between the government and the leadership of these religious organizations.
The bill also proposes to introduce the procedure of approval of candidates, appointed leadership of religious organizations at the central and regional level, with a central executive body that implements the state policy in the sphere of religion.
In addition, it is proposed to necessarily agree with the authorized state body the invitation of foreign citizens to carry out the preaching work in the territory of Ukraine.
