Metropolis of Boston Announces 40th Annual Ministry Awards Dinner
The Metropolis of Boston will celebrate four decades of ministry and service at its annual awards dinner.
BOSTON — The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston will host its 40th Annual Ministry Awards Dinner on June 14, 2026, at Agganis Arena. The event will begin with a reception at 4 p.m., followed by dinner at 5 p.m.
For four decades, the annual gathering has honored clergy and lay leaders whose service has strengthened parish life throughout New England. Organizers described the evening as both a celebration of ministry and an opportunity for fellowship among faithful from across the Metropolis of Boston.
This year’s dinner will also commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Philoxenia House Ministry, which supports individuals and families visiting Boston during times of medical or personal need. Church leaders said the ministry has served as a longstanding expression of Orthodox hospitality, compassion, and care made possible through the support of the faithful.
Attendees are encouraged to reserve seats through their home parishes before May 20. Event sponsorship opportunities are also available.
Previously, the UOJ reported that registration opened for the 2026 GOARCH Clergy-Laity Congress.
