Pat. Porfirije Gives Blessing to Leadership of UOJ-Serbia
During a meeting at the Patriarchal Residence, the primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church praised the work of Orthodox journalists, emphasized the importance of a conservative Orthodox worldview, and bestowed his pastoral blessing on the UOJ’s activities.
BELGRADE — On December 22, 2025, Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia received representatives of the Serbian editorial team of the Union of Orthodox Journalists and the media outlet’s main branch at the Patriarchal Residence in Belgrade.
The Primate of the Serbian Church and representatives of the Patriarchate warmly welcomed the guests and extended them a cordial reception.
The Serbian editorial team of UOJ presented His Holiness with details of its activities, as well as the principles and ideas underlying the work of our media project, which brings together the voices of Orthodox believers from various countries on a single platform.
Patriarch Porfirije gave a positive assessment of the efforts of Orthodox journalists and emphasized the importance of conveying a conservative, Orthodox worldview to a broad audience.
His Holiness expressed support for the work of UOJ and bestowed his pastoral blessing on its activities, to the glory of the Church of Christ.
