All Saints in Raleigh now counts 215 catechumens amid continued parish growth.

RALEIGH, NC — The number of catechumens at All Saints Antiochian Orthodox Church continues to rise, with the parish reporting 215 catechumens as of mid-February.

In September, more than 160 catechumens were preparing for reception into the Church, and 32 were baptized on January 11. On February 15, the parish announced that 83 additional people had become catechumens the previous Sunday, marking a significant increase in those preparing to enter the Orthodox faith.

Under the pastoral care of Fr. David Winn, All Saints is among a number of Orthodox parishes in the United States experiencing notable growth in recent years. In a public message, the parish gave thanks for the influx of inquirers and asked for prayers as the catechumens continue their spiritual preparation.

Previously, the UOJ reported that 32 catechumens were baptized at St. John of Shanghai Center in Uganda.
