Orthodox college students can begin 2027 with spiritual renewal and fellowship at winter retreats in Oklahoma and California.

BROOKLINE, MA — Orthodox college students will have two opportunities to gather for winter retreats in January 2027, with programs in Oklahoma and California offering time for spiritual renewal, fellowship, and deeper engagement with the Christian faith.

Orthodox Christian Fellowship (OCF) will host its UPSTREAM winter retreat January 2–5 at St. Crispin’s Conference Center in Wewoka, Oklahoma. The pan-Orthodox gathering welcomes college students from across North America to spend several days amid wooded hills and lakes, stepping away from their daily routines to strengthen their relationships with Christ and one another.

OCF describes the retreat as “a chance to step away from the rapid current of everyday life and to swim upstream, finding rest, renewal, and revival.” Registration costs $200, covering lodging, meals, and shuttle transportation to and from Will Rogers International Airport. A non-refundable $100 deposit is required, and registration closes November 30, 2026. Questions may be directed to [email protected].

A second opportunity, Camp St. Nicholas University (CSNU), will take place January 4–6 at Camp St. Nicholas in Frazier Park, Calif. Organized by the Diocese of Los Angeles Camping Program, the retreat is designed for college-age young adults returning to school after winter break. This year’s theme is “In the Fire.” Interested participants can use the QR code in the flyer below to register.
