St. Tikhon’s Seminary will host a November 5 webinar featuring its dean and academic dean to help men explore and discern a possible vocation to the Orthodox priesthood.

SOUTH CANAAN, PA — St. Tikhon's Orthodox Theological Seminary will host a virtual seminar on November 5, 2026, for men interested in discerning a possible vocation to the Orthodox priesthood. The webinar, titled “Here I Am, Send Me!” will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. Eastern Time and will require advance registration.

The presentation will be led by Fr. John Parker, dean of the seminary, and Fr. Paul J. Witek, academic dean. Both will discuss the process of discerning a priestly vocation and the path toward serving at the Holy Altar.

The webinar is intended particularly for laymen in the early stages of considering the priesthood, including those who view themselves as being in a pre-seminary stage. Organizers also welcome those who are simply curious about seminary life and want to learn more about responding to a potential calling.

Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions following the presentation. Those who register will receive a Zoom link approximately 24–48 hours before the event.

Registration is required and available online. The archdiocese asks participants to seek a blessing from their parish priest or confessor before attending.

Previously the UOJ reported that new married student housing were built at St. Tikhon’s Seminary.
