Logos Cinema Opens Investment Round to Build the Future of Orthodox Film and Media
Independent streaming platform enters its next phase of growth with plans to expand original productions, exclusive programming, and the infrastructure supporting a new generation of Christian filmmakers.
WILMINGTON, DE — Logos Cinema, the independent streaming platform dedicated to Orthodox Christian film, television, documentary, and educational programming, has announced the opening of a new investment round to accelerate the company’s next stage of growth.
Launched in April 2026, Logos Cinema was founded around a simple conviction: Christians should not have to choose between compelling entertainment and stories that take faith seriously.
In the months since its launch, Logos Cinema has grown to more than 2,000 subscribers while building a rapidly expanding catalog of films, documentaries, series, podcasts, and children’s programming. The platform has also established relationships with filmmakers, ministries, and creators throughout the Orthodox world, creating a growing distribution network for Orthodox Christian media that has historically lacked a dedicated home.
Now, Logos Cinema is preparing for its next chapter.
The company is opening an investment round to provide the capital necessary to move beyond its initial proof of concept and accelerate the development of a vertically integrated Christian entertainment company — one capable not only of distributing great stories, but financing, producing, marketing, and ultimately creating them.
“Logos was never intended to simply be another streaming service,” said Andrew Stokich, co-founder and CEO of Logos Cinema. “The platform is the foundation. Our larger goal is to build an ecosystem where filmmakers can create ambitious Orthodox Christian work, audiences can discover it, and successful projects can help finance the next generation of stories.”
From Platform to Studio
Capital raised through the round will primarily support three areas of expansion: subscriber acquisition and marketing, original and exclusive programming, and the continued development of Logos Cinema’s technology and production infrastructure.
The company is already developing and acquiring a growing slate of exclusive programming across narrative film, documentary, education, and children’s entertainment.
Upcoming programming includes "East West," an exclusive series from filmmaker and scholar Dr. Nathan Jacobs examining the historical and theological divide between Eastern and Western Christianity, alongside additional projects from Jacobs.
Logos is also expanding its documentary slate with projects including "A Voice in the Wilderness," exploring the life and continuing influence of Fr. Seraphim Rose, and "ICON," an upcoming documentary from the Odd Brothers.
The platform is additionally preparing to welcome programming from Ancient Faith Kids, expanding Logos Cinema’s offering for Orthodox families and younger audiences.
Alongside these projects, Logos continues to develop a pipeline of original narrative films intended to demonstrate that explicitly Orthodox Christian cinema can be artistically ambitious, commercially viable, and capable of reaching audiences well beyond the traditional faith-media market.
Building An Economy Around Christian Filmmaking
The long-term vision extends beyond individual productions.
Logos Cinema is building the distribution, production, technology, and audience infrastructure necessary for an independent Christian film economy — one in which creators have a viable path from concept to financing, production, distribution, and monetization.
That strategy includes the continued development of the Logos Cinema streaming platform as well as production capabilities and new tools designed to connect filmmakers, creatives, investors, donors, and audiences.
Rather than attempting to compete with mainstream entertainment companies on volume, Logos Cinema is focused on serving a highly engaged global audience with programming created specifically for them.
“We believe there is an enormous audience that has been underserved by the existing entertainment industry,” said Zachary Delaney, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Logos Cinema. “But this isn’t simply about making ‘Orthodox content.’ We want to make exceptional cinema — beautiful, challenging, entertaining work that comes from a genuinely Orthodox Christian understanding of the human person.”
The Next Phase
The investment round represents the first major opportunity for outside investors to participate in Logos Cinema’s growth following the platform’s launch and early market validation.
New capital will allow the company to invest more aggressively in audience acquisition while expanding the pipeline of exclusive and original productions available to subscribers.
For Logos Cinema, the objective is ultimately larger than subscriber growth.
It is to establish the infrastructure necessary for Orthodox Christian filmmakers to tell stories at a scale that has rarely been possible within the modern entertainment industry.
“We’ve demonstrated that this audience exists,” Stokich said. “The question now is how quickly we can build for it. With the right partners and the right capital behind us, we believe Logos can become the center of a genuine renaissance in Orthodox Christian filmmaking.”
