Over the years, the question "Why?" has been asked of me in various ways. At other times, when I was a more zealous convert, the answer was offered even without the question being asked!
Yet, the question – asked once more – is a good one and it deserves a serious answer. Thus, one who has converted should follow the instruction of the Glorious Apostle Peter in his first epistle: “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear” (3:15).
