UOJ-USA Statement of Support for Orthodox Times
In Defense of Orthodox Journalism
Washington D.C — In response to reports that Constantinople's Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon had sent legal notices to Orthodox Times in an attempt to censure their reporting on the dire state of the Ukrainian Church, UOJ-America Editor-in-Chief, Ben Dixon, released a formal statement of support. In it, he states that Orthodox journalists should be free to "report faithfully and accurately on the life of the Church, free from coercion and baseless attacks by Church officials."
