The Diocese of the South’s 2026 Pastoral Conference will gather clergy and families in North Carolina for worship, education, and fellowship.
KERNERSVILLE, NC — The Diocese of the South will hold its 2026 Pastoral Conference from February 3–6, bringing together diocesan clergy and their families at Holy Cross Orthodox Church in Kernersville. The annual gathering will feature council meetings, lectures, worship services, and opportunities for fellowship.
The conference will include a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy with ordinations, sessions addressing parish growth, bioethics, legal responsibilities for clergy, and analysis of the ongoing surge of converts to the Orthodox Church in America (OCA). Guest speakers include Dn. Seraphim Rohlin, Dr. Ana Iltis of Wake Forest University, and attorney Genevieve Lyday.
New this year is a dedicated “Matushki Meet-Up” track, offering clergy wives focused programming, discussion, and fellowship designed to strengthen marriages and shared ministry. Events will be centered at Holy Cross and nearby venues, with accommodations provided at a host hotel in Winston-Salem.
Registration for the conference can be found here.
