Antiochian Village to Host 2026 Women’s Retreat
The 2026 Women’s Retreat will examine the mystery of Communion through teaching, worship, and community life.
BOLIVAR, PA — Organizers have announced details for the 2026 Women’s Retreat at Antiochian Village, scheduled for November 12–15. The annual gathering will bring together Orthodox Christian women for worship, fellowship, and theological reflection centered on the theme of Holy Communion.
Featured speakers include Khouria Frederica Mathewes-Green, Mat. Melissa Naasko, Gabriela Hoppe, and Fr. Lucas Christensen. Sessions will explore the spiritual meaning of the Eucharist, addressing questions about what occurs when believers partake in Communion, how Christ dwells within the faithful, and what it means to live as a Eucharistic community. Participants will also reflect on their role in the Divine Liturgy.
Due to high demand, on-site lodging at Antiochian Village is already sold out, though a waiting list remains open. Organizers note that commuter tickets are still available, allowing attendees to participate in all sessions and meals while arranging their own accommodations. The waiting list and commuter registration can be found here.
