A long-running Albanian religious radio station expands its audience with nationwide broadcasts and new mobile apps.

TIRANA, ALBANIA — Radio “Resurrection” (Radio Ngjallja), a local religious and socio-cultural broadcaster, continues to expand its reach across Albania while marking a new milestone with the release of its mobile applications. Broadcasting 24 hours a day on 88.5 FM, the station serves much of the country, including Tirana, Durrës, Kavaja, Korça, Pogradec, Elbasan, Fier, Lushnje, and surrounding areas.

Founded in April 1998, Radio Ngjallja offers a diverse program aimed at listeners of all ages. Its content combines ecclesiastical, classical, and light music with informative broadcasts such as news, radio chronicles, reportage, meditations, prayers, and historical and educational programming focused on spiritual and social values, giving faithful "the opportunity to always be close to the word of hope, prayer, and inspiration."

Since switching to round-the-clock, 24-hour broadcasting in 2001, the station has steadily developed both its programming and professional staff. The newly released Radio Ngjallja app is now available on Google Play and the Apple App Store, further broadening audience access.

Previously, the UOJ reported that Holy Cross was awarded $1 million to launch a digital media studio.
