Antiochian Archdiocese Announces Vocations Retreat for 2026
Antiochian Village will host a summer retreat in Pennsylvania to help men discern a potential calling to the priesthood.
BOLIVAR, PA — A vocations retreat for Orthodox men considering the priesthood in the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America is scheduled for August 20–23, 2026, at the Antiochian Village Conference Center, bringing together participants with His Eminence Metr. Saba and other senior clergy for a weekend of discernment, worship, and discussion.
The program — organized in tandem with Ancient Faith Ministries — includes speaker sessions, panel discussions, and shared worship services, along with opportunities for informal fellowship such as meals and evening gatherings. Participants will hear from clergy and clergy spouses on topics ranging from discerning a vocation to sustaining priestly ministry in daily life, and will also have time for prayer at relics of saints, including St. Raphael of Brooklyn.
Organizers require a letter of blessing from each participant’s parish priest prior to registration and emphasize that the event is intended specifically for men discerning priesthood within the Antiochian Archdiocese, though spouses or close family members may accompany attendees.
Previously, the UOJ reported that a monastic-vocations gathering drew young men to St. Peter’s Monastery.
