Kyriakos Mitsotakis said that the parliament should pass a bill on same-sex marriage.
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced that the bill on same-sex marriage legalisation will be passed in early February, reports orthodoxianewsagency.gr.
"I am sure that the same-sex couple will be passed," said the Prime Minister of Greece, noting that "it will be discussed in the Cabinet of Ministers next week."
According to him, this bill will become state law in the first days of February. He mentioned that he did not impose party discipline on same-sex marriage legalization but hoped that " it will be voted by the Parliament".
Earlier, it was reported that the Primate of the Greek Church called for a referendum on same-sex marriage.
