OCAMPR to Host 2025 Fall Conference on Addictions and Compulsions

Special clergy workshop on trauma to be featured in October gathering.
LA CRESCENTA, CA — The Orthodox Christian Association of Medicine, Psychology and Religion (OCAMPR) has announced its 2025 Fall Conference, set for October 2–4 at the University of St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, Illinois. This year’s theme is “The Passions: The Theology & Science of Addictions and Compulsions.”
A new feature of the conference will be a clergy-focused workshop titled “Trauma and the Passions: A Workshop for Confessors.” Designed for both experienced confessors and clergy new to pastoral ministry, the session will address trauma as a pressing concern in parish life and the confessional.
