Greek Orthodox Archdiocese Launches Diakonia Weekly Bulletin Initiative
The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America has launched Diakonia, a new weekly bulletin resource delivering high-quality spiritual and educational content to parishes nationwide.
NEW YORK — The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America’s (GOARCH) National Ministries has announced the launch of Diakonia, a new weekly bulletin initiative designed to strengthen parish ministry and deepen the spiritual life of the faithful. The program responds to a request from the Archdiocesan Presbyters Council for consistent, high-quality bulletin content that is spiritually enriching, educational, and visually engaging.
Funded through a grant from Leadership 100, Diakonia represents a major expansion of the Archdiocese’s popular Bulletin Builder platform, long used by clergy and parish administrators to streamline bulletin production. The new initiative addresses a longstanding challenge by providing ready-to-use weekly content with simple “point-and-click” integration.
Each edition of Diakonia includes scriptural reflections, insights from Biblical Greek, features on Church history, educational pieces on Orthodox faith and practice, and children’s activities. Beginning Tuesday, January 20, the content will be available weekly through Bulletin Builder, either as a standalone supplement or integrated into existing parish bulletins.
Previously, the UOJ reported that a Church Roadmap podcast is launching in 2026 for Orthodox parishes.
