Metr. Saba Meets Youth Ministry Leaders in Englewood
Youth and young adult ministry leaders met with Metr. Saba in New Jersey to strengthen pastoral initiatives and announce a major Archdiocese-wide summit.
ENGLEWOOD, NJ — His Eminence Metr. Saba met with leaders of the Department of Youth & Young Adult Ministries at the Antiochian Archdiocese Headquarters on January 12, 2026, to review and strengthen ministries serving young people across the Archdiocese. The gathering featured open dialogue on the pastoral needs of youth and young adults and the Church’s role in fostering faith, leadership, and lifelong commitment to Christ. Metr. Saba offered guidance and encouragement, emphasizing Christ-centered ministry rooted in the life of the Church.
Department representatives presented updates on current initiatives, ongoing programs, and strategic goals aimed at strengthening cooperation among parishes, clergy, and ministry leaders. Later that day, participants convened at St. George Church in Little Falls, New Jersey, for a planning session and concluded with the Paraklesis to the Most Holy Theotokos.
The department also announced a Youth & Young Adult Ministry Summit scheduled for October 22–25, 2026, at the Antiochian Village Conference Center.
