Radio Ngjallja Joins Logos Cinema on Albanian Orthodox Persecution
Radio Ngjallja is bringing the stories of Albania’s persecuted Orthodox clergy to a worldwide audience through a major Orthodox media platform.
TIRANA, ALBANIA — Radio Ngjallja’s documentary productions have been selected for Logos Cinema, expanding the Albanian Orthodox Church’s media outreach to an international audience. The collaboration places the Albanian broadcaster’s work alongside productions from established Orthodox media organizations, including Ancient Faith Radio, Trisagion Films, and The Symbolic World.
A central part of the partnership is Radio Ngjallja’s documentary series “The Persecution of the Orthodox Clergy During the Communist Period.” The series examines one of the most difficult chapters in the history of the Orthodox Church in Albania, using the testimonies and experiences of clergy who endured persecution under the country’s former atheist communist regime.
The documentaries seek to preserve the memory of those who suffered for their faith and to introduce younger generations to their perseverance, sacrifice, and devotion to Christ. By making the productions available through Logos Cinema, Radio Ngjallja hopes the history of Albanian Orthodoxy will reach viewers far beyond the country’s borders.
The collaboration also highlights the broader witness of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania, including its history of persecution, spiritual resilience, and centuries-old cultural heritage. Radio Ngjallja said the partnership provides an opportunity to share this heritage with an international audience while continuing its mission of documenting and presenting the life of the Church.
The documentary series is now available for viewing on Logos Cinema. Radio Ngjallja continues its work with the blessing of Abp. John.
