St. Andrew’s Camp Announces Summer 2026 Program Lineup
The camp blends prayer, friendship, and outdoor adventure to help Orthodox youth grow in faith throughout the summer.
CLEVELAND, NY — St. Andrew’s Camp is preparing to welcome children, teenagers, and families from across the Orthodox Church in America's (OCA) Diocese of New York and Jersey for its 2026 summer season, offering a variety of faith-centered programs designed to combine Orthodox Christian formation with outdoor recreation and fellowship.
The camp’s schedule begins with Family Week, set for June 29 through July 3, which invites parents and children of all ages to experience camp life together. Activities include kayaking, swimming, sports, music, art, nature study, and visits to the camp’s equestrian facilities, all integrated into a daily rhythm of worship and prayer. Organizers say the program also serves as an introduction to camp life for younger children who may later attend independently.
Several themed sessions for children ages 7 to 13 will follow throughout the summer. Adventure Week will focus on nature exploration, aquatics, and survival skills, while Horse Week will provide riding instruction and hands-on horse care experience. Sports Week will feature Olympic-style competitions and athletic activities, and Arts Fusion Week will encourage creativity through visual arts, music, drama, and dance.
The season will conclude with Teen Week, held August 2-8 for youth ages 13 to 17. In addition to traditional camp activities, participants will engage in service projects, team-building exercises, religious education, and daily liturgical life. Camp leaders say the goal is to help young people strengthen their faith, develop lasting friendships, and prepare to live as Orthodox Christians in today’s world.
Previously, the UOJ reported that the Antiochian Teen Ministry released a summer activity guide for parishes.
