Antiochian Education Ministry Launches Orthodox Learning Ladder
The Orthodox Learning Ladder aims to unify and elevate Christian education across the Antiochian Archdiocese through a flexible, comprehensive online hub.
ENGLEWOOD, NJ — The Antiochian Orthodox Christian Education Ministry officially launched the Orthodox Learning Ladder on Feb. 15, introducing a new online resource hub to strengthen parish Christian Education programs across the Archdiocese.
Designed for teachers of all experience levels, the platform complements existing curricula rather than replacing them. It offers a guiding framework to help parishes discern what, when, and how to incorporate catechetical formation into parish life. At its core are grade-level learning maps from pre-K through 12th grade, covering Scripture, the Church Fathers, and major feasts to ensure well-rounded spiritual development.
The site also features curated resources for Great Lent and Pascha, including a daily Lenten calendar with readings and activities. Available materials range from lesson plans and printables to videos, music, icons, and podcasts, with additional content planned in the months ahead. The Orthodox Learning Ladder can be accessed at www.orthodoxlearningladder.com.
Previously, the UOJ reported that Three Hierarchs Academy Press launched free Orthodox resources.
